Autodesk Identity Manager not detected

Describe the bug
When it gets time to login the screen has locked up and it's complaining about identity manager. Clicking the Fusion window just makes a sound effect like it locked up.

To Reproduce
You run Fusion and try to log in.

Expected behavior
It logs in an runs

• Tried Firefox and Chrome
• haven't gotten that far to see opengl vs dx11

I've tried Wine-staging 10.14 and 10 but no changes.

I have the exact same problem but whats really strange is that I got it working on my laptop. So I coped the install file to my desktop and it works...

I installed the version on my laptop a few weeks ago.

I also tried Wine 10 with no difference. Still just freezes.

Did you install geko and mono?

I ran something like `apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable' on my laptop and work out of the box.

I just ran apt install winehq-staging=10.14~noble-1 wine-staging=10.14~noble-1 wine-staging-i386=10.14~noble-1 wine-staging-amd64=10.14~noble-1 after trying 11 rc1. I've noticed that the version of wine also seems to effect which Qt6WebEngineCore.dll you need. I've uploaded the one I use.

I have the same problem — Fusion isn’t possible to log into anymore. The issue affects not only new installations, but also older ones that were installed before and worked properly. Now I can’t log in to Fusion automatically or manually. This situation is critical because I’m left without Fusion.

I tried different versions of Wine and Fusion, and the result is the same: logging in via adskimgr:/login no longer works.
I also tried installing Fusion in a KVM/VM on Windows 11, and there is a new type of login: a one-time passcode (OTP).

you need to have the browser trigger calling Autodesk Identity Manager. which used to work but every update on fusion, the version (long hash) changes so the line below needs to be more dynamic.

for me, I updated and for some reason it runs but still doesn't trigger fusion to oauth login. but so close, yet so far.

I don't think so. I've been installing and using Fusion 360 on Linux for years without any issues. However, logging in via AdskIdentityManager.exe and the adskimgr:/login... string no longer works, because it has been changed to a one-time passcode (OTP) login.

@madurani for me on cachyos signin works when

• I use firefox
• and create the adskidmgr-opener.desktop file: (as per logging in autodesk in FF doesn't trigger the fusion app to log me in. #561 (comment) )
• clicked the sign-in link in fusion and then in the firefox window that opens click open product and then allow firefox to open the adskidmgr-opener

adskidmgr-opener.desktop file is know for me and work fine, but after login not work button "open product"

Fixed — I found the issue (a stupid mistake). Chrome must not be running before login. The login button starts Chrome automatically, and after clicking “Open Product”, Fusion login finish correctly.

In the new version of Fusion, i had issue with the left data panel.
After installation, in the default configuration, the panel appears without any data/projects.
In the configuration panel, I found an option that was set to Auto, which I changed to OpenGL.
After restarting Fusion, the projects appeared again in the left panel.

After the update, a new option called “Chromium” was added.
Has anyone tried playing with this option?

I have the same error, I can't launch Fusion360 after the login window appears in the browser, tried in Firefox and Chrome.
