attached a movie showing the behaviors, the .axaml file, and my copy source .docx file.

Test 1 - when set the cursor to the end of item 1, add a new line, backspace, add more characters, the cursor will move to the wrong spot, crash, or both. If you remove the flowdocument section from the .axaml it works "better" but glitches sometimes.

Test 2 - paste, delete, paste again - it crashes.

Test 3 is weird - can't paste into the first text box, but pasting into second text box causes text to appear in both.

Note, pasting the text does not paste all the attributes, font colors, text effects (strikeout). I assume it's because this is still a work in progress.

Thanks for the feedback - I finally managed to find time to test with your files: copy/pasting your file (ToDo.docx) into the RTB, and was able to resolve at least the errors I encountered. (AvRichTextBox ver. 1.7.3, pushed here on github and also up on Nuget).

Please give it a try, hopefully pasting will work for you without any further errors.

Thanks for your changes and the upgrade. There is still one issue is that if there are 2 RTB's in a window, typing in one window will duplicate the text in another! I traced it down to the wrong flow document getting put into the element. I made a change to "fix" the problem, but I'm not entirely sure why it works. In flowdoc.cs lines 34-43.

Basically, comment out the registering the property and the getter and setter. in my mind, it shouldn't make a difference. My only thought is that it's because it registers it as a static.

One other issue, which is not yours, is my RTF is getting parsed incorrectly, wrong color, font family, and size. The RTF I am parsing was generated by a WPF RTB. when rtf parser gets the color from the color table, it's off by one. I fixed that by removing the index-- in the parser. The font issue is a little more complex, it seems it's not resetting to the previous values when the parser leaves a block. Unfortunately there doesn't, seem to be a more recent or better parser. I'm torn between trying to fix this one or writing my own. I've even gone through the 200+ page spec for RTF 1.9.1. The author of RtfParser has not responded to previous posts, so I have little hope that they will fix it.

The mirroring behavior of multiple RTBs is now fixed (ver. 1.7.5).
The problem was the default [] setting in :

moved creation of Blocks to the constructor, and now multiple RTBs work independently.

As for your RTF parsing issue, the parser RTfDomParserAv.dll included in AvRichTextBox does a good job of getting the color table, font table, etc, but not knowing what that WPF RTB generator is doing, hard to say.
