Hey, I'am undecided between flutter_rust_bridge and rinf

• Is rinf high efficiency ?
• Does rinf support function calls and return values ？

Yes, rinf is highly efficient because Serde and Bincode inherently provides performant serialization. There is an extra memory copy when sending data from Dart to Rust (but not from Rust to Dart), though this typically doesn't matter unless your messages are very large.

Does rinf support function calls and return values?

No, rinf does not support function calls and return values. It uses message-passing mechanism. If you need function calls with return values, consider using flutter_rust_bridge instead.

About very large, I’m currently developing a photo processing app and looking to improve its speed using Rust.

As you can see, This is a big data scenario, Should dart to rust avoid passing image data through memory ?

It's recommended not to send large data from Dart to Rust. At least one time of memory copy is involved (unless using experimental Dart features).
