set protect as global option

with the new protect option for actions, we are required to set it under the individual actions.

this makes it difficult, or cumbersome, so set for only 1 or a few buttons that requires that, while using a more generic template.

with confirmation, we can set that globally

please consider adding the same option for protect, so we can do
