When I say active/live mask I mean the white mask that turns up after first click when using SAM, and remains until prompting is finished and the mask is finalised.
I'm working on a project to segment some images which have quite fine details on them. I find that after the first click, when a mask is produced, it's really hard to further refine the mask because the white active/live mask obscures the image behind too much. This results in me finalising a mask, hiding it, noticing it's not right and then deleting it to start again. Is there a way to change the appearance for this active/live mask? I think the dream is to have only edge pixels coloured, and do away with the fill. But suspect that's difficult since it's a mask rather than polygon... In which case, just changing the default opacity, or maybe colour, would be great.
The opacity controls under "appearance" on the right hand side don't seem to do anything for the active/live mask, only the finalised ones.
