How To Import A Key

Goal

Import an key pair.

Before you begin

• Install the currently supported version of cleos.
• Understand the following:
  • What is a public and private key pair.

Steps

Execute the command below:

$ cleos wallet import

Type your private key. You should see something like this:

private key: imported private key for: GLS5...4NdoPs7G
