Double Click to Open New Session without Closing Configuration Window

Coming from MacOS you can just double click the servers in the "New Remote Connection" window and it will open a new SSH session without closing the "New Remote Connection window".

Kitty can do this but only using the start button. It would be nice if I could just double click my saved sessions and open a bunch of windows without having to click the session, click start, click the other session, click start etc.

In other words would it be possible to add an option to change the default double click behavior from open to start?
