aotf: consider allowing the list of configured commands to be modified

Could poll be raised to the short-list automatically, if the task is on a platform with polling comms configured?

Not really, the dropdown menu is powered only by the object type (i.e, workflow, cycle, family, task or job).

To determine the platform communications, when opened the menu would need to make a special request for the platform name, then look that up against the platform configuration (which I don't think is available via GraphQL). This would be quite complex, but also impose a delay every time a menu is opened.
