Add simple formatter

Does it possible to add some simple formatter? Because right now the code is hard to read and identify the start/end of the passage.

A formatting provider is planned, but I don't see how that would identify the start or end of a passage. Only the start is marked by the passage header. The end is the beginning of the next header.
