migration guide

What's the issue or suggestion?

Hi,
It would be fantastic to have a migration guide.
It would be even better if I could get answers immediately and if those then could be added to the documentation in a second step.

1. How do I backup the database?
2. How do I rollback in case something goes wrong?
3. Can we skip a version or do we have to migrate one version to the next higher version?
4. How do I apply the upgrade? (Do I need to stop my current service?)

Specifically, I am wondering about dagster instance migrate which I can't find much documentation on.

For the backup and restore I guess this should work fine, or?

docker exec -it postgresql pg_dump -Fc  -U postgres_user postgres_db > /tmp/dagster_dump
cat /tmp/dagster_dump | docker exec -i postgresql pg_restore -Fc -U postgres_user -d postgres_db
