ISSUE RESOLVED Camoufox has a method public_ip(), that has a list of Public IP APIs to check and validate the request IP address. In my case, this check raised an InvalidProxy Exception due to which the geoip wasn't set and it failed to get relevant geolocation data for the fingerprint. |

Hey Guys!
I'm encountering an issue when using proxies with Camoufox. I'm doing something like this:
At this point I receive an error:
InvalidProxy: Failed to connect to proxy: http://USERNAME:[email protected]:yyyyyIt works fine if I remove the geoip=True parameter. But I believe it is recommended to use that with proxies since that helps with better fingerprint spoofing. And even though it works without geoip, the responses I get are mostly negative.
It also works if I remove the proxy parameter and keep geoip=True, but there's a limit to how much I can achieve without proxies.
Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong here or is this a common issue?
NOTE: The Proxies I'm using are all valid proxies, I've been using them for years and they work fine with other libraries like requests or curl_cffi
