Battery-Emulator for CAN Frame modification possible?

Is it in theory possible to use Battery-Emulator to modify CAN Frames in vehicle communication?

e.g. to send higher SOH Values to EVC, to avoid DTC of low SOH
Or request higher charge Voltage in case of changed cells in batterypack.
