AutoSMS clients, installation and download

A list of available clients to use with AutoSMS. Most are to be installed/downloaded, and some are web accessible.

NOTE: Be sure to set Safari preferences > Privacy > Block cookies and other website data to "Never". Then restart Safari (e.g. close and reopen Safari). If that setting is some other value, the extension will fail to send the SMS, see issue 2 for details.

For alternate download, unzip file (if needed), then double-click extracted file OR drag and drop it into Safari to install.

Mac OS X dashboard widget

Unzip file then double-click extracted file to install. NOTE: Be sure to set Safari preferences > Privacy > Block cookies and other website data to "Never". Then restart Safari (e.g. close and reopen Safari). If that setting is some other value, the extension will fail to send the SMS, see issue 2 for details.

Windows 7/Vista gadget

Unzip file then double-click extracted file to install. NOTE: If you have problems installing the gadget, you can rename the file from autosms.gadget to autosms.zip then be sure extracted folder is named autosms.gadget and finally copy folder to %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets, where %UserProfile% is usually C:\Users\YourUsername. You may have to set folder options to show hidden and system files to find this folder location. Once copied, the gadget should show up in the gadgets list to add/install.
