Hello,
It would be great to have a MQTT connection, so we can push messages from for example Home Assistant, or forward or backward through the images.

Honestly, MQTT feels like overkill here, and if we were to add this feature, it would likely bring more complexity than value.

SSE could get the job done, but the fact that Kiosk supports multiple clients means the user would need to add IDs to every device (or the devices they would like to target) for remote commands to work.
