[Feature] Use as Kodi picture slideshow

Is there a possibility to use this neat project as a slideshow for the Kodi media center software? I already tried to simply use the url (and the image endpoint) like I would use an internet stream in Kodi (*.strm file consisting of the url), but this does not work.
Best thing would be to have a Kodi addon which also would enable one to change settings and so on from the Kodi ui.

I have next to zero knowledge about Kodi. Do you know what it is expecting from the URL?

Unfortunately, I don"t really know that, either. Usually, Kodi would expect some common internet stream with a/v data. I had hoped that the image endpoint would sufffice, but herr Kodi does not display anything. Probably the image would habe to be converted to some kind of mp4 container with video content.
(Kodi seems not to be able to display web pages, unfortunately.)
