Developed a draft/prototype of this, but I am running into issues with the Coinos API. I reached out to the Coinos team for help.

I started with the approach described by the Coinos team here: coinos/coinos-server#74 (comment), because it means the user could use their regular keypair to sign-up (by signing a challenge).

I am having issues with that sample code though. If this method is not suitable, I will fallback to that other idea of deterministically deriving a password from the user's own private key e.g. sha256(priv_key).

the whole point of sha256(priv_key + "coinos") was so that coinos has no knowledge of which nostr user is associated with the account. please do it that way.
