This project does not maintain the web vault. Any suggestions on UI enhancments or functionalities within the web vault should be raised at bitwarden. If the functionalty already exists in newer web vault versions you could try and user the "testing" image, which has a newer web vault version |

I want to propose an adjustment to the management of attachments in the Web UI. The current way is very unintuitive and I had to actually spend 10 mins googling around to find how to add an attachment via the Web UI.
I was creating a new entry where I had a certificate file (.pfx) that I need to provide when I log in. My expectation was that on the screen where I enter data such as username/password/domain, under Custom Fields in the dropdown, I would be able to select "Attachment" and then a button that would propmt me to select the file from the filesystem.
To my surprise this was not there, nor were Attachments anywhere to be found within the "Edit entry" screen where I would expect them to be. Attachments are after all a part of the data of the entry.
As I googled how to add an attachment, I was provided with links to BitWarden, to GitHub Issues etc, which all discussed the functionality, but now actually where I find it. After around 10 mins of searching I finally found a result where it mentioned you need to click on the 3-dot in the list of entries.
I don't understand the UX concept and it's confusing why aren't attachments managed in the same place as the rest of the entry?
My proposal would be to add an entry "Attachments" under the dropdown in Custom fields.

And to then be able to see the attachments under the custom fields, delete it or a button to add an attachment.
