Extract as xml

Dear Daniel, dear community.

Is there a way to output the metadata, i.e. the xml parts of mdf files in their raw xml-format?
Our requirement / plan is to verify the XML files using the schemas provided by ASAM as a download.
We intend to automatically create logfiles when a comprehensive set of MDF-Files is uploaded to a database.

Hint: Vector offers a free SW-tool "Vector MDF Validator" which does it. But, it can't be scripted / called by our SW.
