As far as I understand, Ledger Live establishes an encrypted connection to the device and performs the app installation through it. This feels like a black鈥慴ox connection to a black鈥慴ox OS. In theory, they can do whatever they want, and as a Ledger wallet holder it feels like I am just like part of their storage system:|.
Is there any other way to install apps, such as an offline manager, or at least a more transparent / interpretable process?
Using your code, I can see many bytes being exchanged between the Ledger device and the server, but it is not clear what they represent. This does not give me a strong feeling of self鈥慶ustody.
