Daemon exits when modules unplugged

Is there a reason for such behavior, like preventing memory leaks?

Is it possible to run daemon forever and support hot-(un)plugging?

It would be much simpler and desirable and expected from a daemon.

Sorry, missed this issue. Not sure why but only rarely get notifications.
The main reason the daemon has the current behaviour is because it is my first and only attempt at coding in Python.
