Is there a feature to display "Imported!" if the contact already exists in for example airtable? Based on the name or linkedin url perhaps? Otherwise it's likely I will create lots of duplicates as I don't want to manually check for each linkedin profile if it already exists...

I agree with you, it would be better to avoid duplicates in the listing.
Smart Spreadsheet apps (Airtable and Google Sheet) don't have a way to force uniqueness on a field. This feature need to be moved to the client side. And it has to be done for each one (Airtable, Google Sheet). I don't plan to add it in the near future as it is lot of work but thanks for the feedback.
In Datablist it is possible to define an unique constraint on a property to consolidate data and avoid duplicate. Once registration will be open, you should take a look :)
