Hi,
How to configure the "parameters" for a specific mode?
I use rofi-emoji and i would like to have 10 columns and no text (only the icons). I want to have only one config file.

How the mode specific parameters are configured depends on the mode. Please check the documentation of rofi-emoji, I am unsure how that plugin works (there are several).

How to configure rofi parameters differently depending on the mode shown:

To configure rofi parameters per mode is not supported. This would not work in rofi design (running one mode, vs multiple tabbed or combined in a combi mode makes it not plausible solution).. The option we have for users to help with this so they don't have to have duplicate config sections is the ability to split the config file into small parts and 'import' the ones you need from one higher level file (or have overrides you import using commandline flag).
