Some suggestions for hike

Hike is the best tool I've ever used, but there are some issues that could be improved for a better experience:

1. Users cannot configure their own keyboard layout.
2. The shortcut to jump to the Document command (<C-/>) doesn't work.
3. Browsing through the Document with the up and down arrows is less efficient. Sometimes, I need to scroll up or down by half a page.
4. There's no way to search the content of the Document.
5. When I type hike in current path, I just want hike only show current Directory, not from the $HOME.(This function can refer what glow does)

Thanks, glad to hear you like Hike. I'm away from my desk for the weekend, I'll give this a proper read over during the week (looks like this should be split down into feature request posts and perhaps a bug report issue).

On the subject of the key combination that isn't working: it would be useful to know what operating system and what terminal emulator you're using.

I tried it with Ubuntu through ssh with ghostty, bash and tmux, and doesn't work.

No problem! It's always good to work out what the cause of it might be. Lots of different terminal environments, emulators and tools have interesting differences when it comes to what key combinations are supported or not -- deciding on key bindings that work everywhere can be very tricky.

Hopefully now you have access to all of the features, and I've now also released the version that allows for keyboard binding by the user (proper documentation is to come, but I think it should be possible to work out what to do from the information in the PR and, if not, feel free to ask).

Now I'm back at my desk:

1. Yes, it's something I'd like to add at some point int he future. Unfortunately Textual (the framework that this is built on) has never had a good out-of-the-box experience when it's come to making configurable keys a feature of applications. Added Add the ability to configure many of the headline command keys #56.
2. That seems to be down to your environment, it would seem. I would imagine something in your setup is capturing or failing to handle that key combination (FWIW it works fine with ghostly on macOS). I'll add a backup key combination that should work. Added Add a backup key combination for JumpToDocument #57.
3. Currently there is page up/down, but yes there's no half-page up/down. I've never really found the need for that though, but I'm happy to consider it at some point.
4. Correct, search is something I might try and add in the future. Textual's Markdown handling doesn't quite lend itself to doing this as well as I'd like so it might be a wee while before I add this.
5. Looking at ~ is my preference here, but I can see that that would be useful; I don't think I know what you mean by "glow". I'll add this as an option. Added Add a configuration option that always sets the filesystem browser to . rather than ~ #58.

3. Half page movement is also now available in the current release via Add the ability to scroll the viewer half a page #62 and Add some vim/less-a-like binds to the document viewer #63.

I will try to use it more frequently and recommend it to the people around me.

Thankfully I happened to have a bit of free time so things came together pretty quickly; it's not always the case though. :-)

Hopefully I'll get to adding a search facility at some point, but that might take a bit longer to happen.
