Force off-grid mode deye 3phase hybrid inverter #1036

I did some research for my single-phase inverter and apparently there is a Modbus register that might do this (force off-grid operation, the inverter certainly has internal relay for this), but I'm reluctant to use it since there is no UI option for it on the inverter itself and I have no idea how to restore it back in case you forget to turn the grid back on and PV/battery is not available/completely discharged without having an external charger that can bring batteries back to a usable level again. I think a more general solution would be to have a relay switch in front of the inverter and control that instead. There are solutions with Tasmota and Zigbee that work locally, so might just use one of those. I'm thinking about installing one myself. There is also a concern of longevity of the internal relay of the inverter if one forces it to open/close too frequently. It is there primarily to prevent islanding and I'm not sure it is designed to be used regularly rather than occasionally. |

Hello All.
I tried to search but could not find any information. Apologies if I missed it.
Is there a way to simulate/force off-grid mode on deye 3p hybrids? I would like to get rid of consuming energy at night for powering on the inverter while I have energy storage available.
Any advices appreciated. Thank you.
