**8 Feb 2026 UPDATE:
modbus TCP now available with dongle firmware update. Inverter is connecting well with the Pylontech Force profile. Only battery stats showing. Requesting assistance to write out full profile.

Hey does anyone else here the new Pylontech Force H3X unit? I just got one installed and have been speaking to the installer to enable Modbus TCP and provide a Map. I really want to connect it to HA which led me to discover this integration. Am I on the right path? fingers crossed it uses the same map as the already compatible Force H3. Thanks heaps team :)

I have the same problem still working on it in my spare time. I managed to get the status of EMS mode using the below entity. But that won't give you any control. I'm not very familiar with how selects work so hopefully someone else might have some idea for this.

I wrote a test script that can set a new value to 40907 (and read the new value) successfully, but the value doesn't change the system operation. I'm thinking it needs something else to "activate" the change. Is that how it might work?

I made an integration to mage the inverter. I couldn't get the writing to the inverter working with solarman or the modbus integration.

Is there any documentation in how to connect to the H3X over modbus?
As far as I see there nothing in the manuals. Modbus is not mentioned, no indication on where are the modbus ports or connections, does it do modbus over tcp/ip...?

Hey @walter-ve , the modbus is activated via a software update to all the components. Thanks for the feedback. Is there any documentation on where the modbus connectors are? It is well described for the H3, I cannot find anything on the H3X.
The software update; what Version do you have now?
