Parallel installation of Solarman integrations by David and Stephan Joubert

Hi, I have the solarman integration by Stephan Joubert installed on Home assistant but would like to test David Rapan's Solarman integration which I understand was inspired by Stephan's one. For testing purposes I would like to keep Stephan's solarman integration installed. Is this advisable or could this cause conflicts, e.g. due to overlapping entity naming, etc.

As far as I know, this is not possible. Remember that your entity names will be renamed.

You will find a "how to" keep your statistics somewhere here on David's GitHub.

I did upgrade to David's integration and it is much more stable and faster than Stephen's integration plus you will get new entities on top.

Just make a backup before upgrading.

Thank you for your reply. Do you mean the Ha-history integration by David? As far as I understand it exports the history or an entity only. The question is how to merge the history of Stephans solarman entities with the history of David's solarman entities. Any tips you could give would be highly appreciated
