Recently i buy 6x pytes v5 for 30kw. Im in open loop with outback inverter. Currently I have a solarman dataloger connected for basic cloud monitoring. For local monitoring I using a rasoberry PI and console port. Thats would be nice create a profile for monitor the pytes (pylontech bms) via wifi with dataloger and Home assistant.

Hi @s3pt1c0, did you try to contact the manufacturer to ask for Modbus RTU documentation?

Hey, i contact the manufacturer. They provided me the documentation for modbus protocol of the eifi dongle. Is a rs485 connection.

The Dongle need to be in transparent mode. For that reason i lost the cloud sync. But is ok. I only have 6x battery with outback inverter.

In transparent mode I able to reach the battery and took some data with a Raspberry Pi3 and published in my HA. I need mode fine tuning but its works for now.

Can you share some details about how you obtain the data shown? You mentioned via console earlier but you also mentioned that you had to put the wifi dongle into transparent mode? Thank you
