Question about inverter settings automatically being changed multiple times a day.

I am currently using Megarevo inverter and I noticed on the activity tab that Work Mode and Battery Mode settings are being changed multiple times a day (see screenshot). Are these commands being sent to the inverter to make the changes in the inverter or is this what is being read from the inverter settings.

If inverter settings are being read multiple times a day I have no issues with that. But if these are commands to automatically change settings in the inverter, I would rather disable them, as I find it unnecessary. Would someone with experience clarify what these messages mean? Thank you.

Hi @GuavaFortress, the values ​​are always only ever read. The user is the only one who can initiate the write (directly or through automation). So what you are seeing is either due to using the wrong register or some problem with your device.

Further looking at the activity history, I am starting to see a pattern. If connection is lost with the Solarman logger, the inverter work mode and battery setting are "changed" after connection is reestablished. I am really hoping this is in fact just reading the setting as you mentioned and not writing settings to the inverter each time connection is lost. Thanks.

This just means that the sensor is unavailable, it's not the sensor real value. 😉
