Set Properties from html attributes

Is it possible to set properties using data attributes from the select element?

i would like to init all the select lists with some predefined options and then on some selects have data-enablefiltering.

maybe have data attributes overide the default options then have the options used in the in the init overide both?

No that's not possible. Data attributes are only supported for the dataprovider. Feel free to add this functionality ;)
