Midnight exp_17: Landauer regularity — mechanism confirmed, model needs M3 (1/4)
T4 PASS: xi (structural binding) decreases PERFECTLY with generation (rho=-1.000). Early xi is 401x larger than late xi. Maps directly to "faster time at higher N" measured in CIV velocity evolution (R2=0.851). More information processing = more structural creation = more velocity. T1-T3 FAIL: Simplified Landauer model doesn't reproduce the M3 results (A/(A+xi) converges to 0.72 not ln(phi)=0.48, amplification 1.7x not 53x). Needs the full PACEngine Landauer machinery with proper density matrix evolution. But the MECHANISM is present: cascade sustains 12 generations, concentration ceiling exists at 1/phi, direction is right. The connection: Landauer erasure cost at each PAC boundary creates structural binding (xi) that locks energy into topology. More boundaries = more binding = less concentrable = regularity. And the rate of binding (xi per tick) tracks the cascade clock.
