You need to load the .env file, so add this to the app.js file:

require('dotenv').config({ path: './.env' });

And of course, install dotenv -> npm i dotenv

ShaneAbara: Did you rename .env-sample to .env? If not, you need to do this. Also make sure your text editor is not saving it as .env.txt by mistake.

iamKTD: It should already be coded into the bot that way. As long as you rename the .env file appropriately, you shouldn't need to add that line.
