support for Splunk SPL-2 syntax highlighting

Hello, is there ever going to be support for SPL2 on this extension? I use my Obsidian for note taking for Splunk, having SPL syntax highlighting would be a great addition for the quality of my notes.

The project got mostly abandoned as far as I can tell from all the open issues, therefore chances for SPL2 support aren't particularly great 🥺
I wish people would archive their repositories in such situations or state in the README that the project is unmaintained and that they're looking for a maintainer instead of letting the project die slowly over time. That just creates more stress for every enthusiastic user of this extension and also wastes user's time 🥲
