Select from multiple albums

How can I select pictures/videos from multiple albums?

One of the solution i found is selecting the album beforehand when from the top right menu I choose 'View' which will show me a combined view of both albums, but this solution doesn't work when i want to choose albums from multiple album groups

Why don't they made it like Samsung gallery where the albums shows on the left side and the user can move between albums and select
