Thumbnail issues

If the photo file format is RAW and is mainly vertical, the thumbnail of the image cannot be displayed vertically but is displayed horizontally (the image is flipped 90 degrees to the right). Currently, .cr2 and .ORF have been tested and the problem can be stably reproduced. Can this problem be solved? Even can't solve it, please answer me. Thanks.

Please provide a sample.

Also, does the embedded thumbnail (the one within the file metadata, not what you see in the Collection page) have the correct orientation with regards to the full image?

Thank you for your response. I uploaded two files here: one shows the screen that appears when the file is clicked, and the other is a thumbnail with a mosaic layout. The program can recognize the photo as vertical (the mosaic layout is vertical), but it can be seen that the thumbnail inside is horizontal. I only found this issue in raw files (I personally think it may be because raw files lack location information). If the photo is in jpg format, the thumbnail displays correctly.

Please share one of the RAWs, as it is (without recompression or conversion).

Also, I found that when providing raw photos displayed in landscape mode, the photo goes through a process of switching from landscape to portrait when displayed.

You could put it in a zip archive. Or just upload it somewhere like a Google Drive, or use WeTransfer.
Without a sample I can't look into it.
