Can't get rid of numurous tabs?

I'm trying to be a little more minimal with the amount of tabs that appear on my search results page, as they all bunch up together if too many are used, but I can't seem to get rid of the tabs.

So far I've tried turning engines off, unchecking search options on the Server settings page, resetting search tabs to default on the engines page, and restarting the server each time. Nothing seems to work. On mobile its making tabs pretty unusable as they're all bunched up into 1-2 letters.

Despite the bug, perhaps a scroll feature instead of breaking words?

First of all, these tabs are defined by engines, how many engines do you have installed? Do they come from the searx ones?

You can go to the engine configuration, click on "advanced" and change the typefor the engines.

You can then choose a few types so they all bundle rather than each engine having their own type, try it out and let me know how it goes ♥️
