400 Bad Request (#129 - scope: ajax_verify_connection_to_remote_site), when the remote site uses unusual port for SSL connection

When I've tried to pull content from a remote site, I've received error in the title.
As far as I've debugged, it happens due to an unusual port number I use for the SSL connection to the remote site.
I use the port 8443 for SSL connection on the server and I saw in /class/Common/Http/RemotePost.php on lines from 98 - 108, you are verifying the SSL connection via fsockopen and hardcoded the port number as 443, which would result replacing the protocol of the remote site URL to "http" from "https".
My remote site URL looks like https://xxxxx.com:8443/. Please replace the port number of fsockopen, in case the port number is defined in the remote site URL.
