I'd love to see this in upstream Orca one day, but I don't think it's ready yet. There are still new features being added and tweaked, and even the current default values are definitely not set in stone. Looking at https://waveoverhangs.com/gallery there's already a case for changing those defaults.

I understand wanting to wait until the feature is mostly bug-free. That said, please don't try and lock this feature behind a separate fork forever.
