4. After a few seconds it breaks and multiple errors are outputted

@maxxturing The type declaration of WeakRef was added at deno v1.5.0 ref: https://github.com/denoland/deno/blob/main/Releases.md#150--20201027 You need to upgrade at least to v1.5.0 to type check WeakRefs. Is that possible for your case?

if possible, try to upgrade to the latest version. It has loads and loads of improvements

If upgrade is difficult, the options might be:

• use --no-check option to avoid type error (WeakRef exists in runtime even in v1.3.x, only typing is missing)
• provides type declaration manually (copy the contents of cli/dts/lib.esnext.weakref.d.ts and include it by /// <reference /> directive
• pin std/testing version to <= 0.97.0 (you need to detect which dependency uses std/testing in your tree to do this)

But upgrading is probably the most recommended way to address the issue...

Using --no-check still threw an error so I used deno upgrade to upgrade to deno 1.11.0 (release, x86_64-apple-darwin)

Type re exports require that you use export type {} from "...";.

You need to
1 - Resolve your isolatedModules related errors, as suggested by Luca
2 - Update all your modules to use a recent version of Deno, directly or somewhere deep in your imports you are using std version 0.61.0

The problems you are likely to encounter from this upgrade (all but the ones introduced in 1.5.0) can be sorted out by just running --no-check on your code. The only ones that can't be ignore are the ones related to isolatedModules

If you can share what your error with --no-check was, that would also help

Yeah, there were breaking changes in oak v7, and .serverRequest is no longer exposed, probably should never have been exposed. Whatever upload-pdf and upload-image were doing with request.serverRequest needs to change.

I found someone on Fiverr who helped me with the last stretch of code changes and we managed to fix it all! We had to import FormFile and change some of the nomenclature

So we're now running Deno 1.11.0 and everything works! 😍
