Rust virtual text is working but it isn't showing type information

Hi, I'm using rust-analyser and I'm getting lots of neat virtual text for warnings so it is obviously working. However, I'm not seeing any virtual inline text for types:

(i.e., I'm not seeing that a is of type u32 even though rust-analyzer knows it is and offers to insert the type for me).

Do I need to set something up to allow this? Thanks!
