For Veterans waiting for results, lab and test outcomes have high urgency and timeliness. Accessing this information on the web can be confusing and can become out of reach all together by login issues. Veterans want to easily see their lab and test results on the mobile app, where they can be notified and gain access to the right information quickly.

Ad Hoc Questions
If we do not alignment with the new API changes, will current functionality still work or have issues?
Is there any timelines in deploying these changes into prod?
I thought I heard reference to design/accessibility work - do you happen to have a contact for that?

These are just new APIs, any previous ones that don't use message threads should continue to work. Even our legacy MHV SM application still uses those (They are not updating the UI to include threads
The new APIs are in prod already, I believe they went in about 5-6 weeks ago. We are still updating our front end in VA.gov to use them.

For VA.gov SM we are still working to get our product out to Phase 0. We are working on some design updates (to get our development to match the most updated designs). We also are working on about 2-3 accessibility issues that came up from Midpoint review or after. For example one of them is to correct tab order issues. Another is to ensure that as users are expanding messages that we have the right aria (screenreader) message get announced...
