Description
We have a new prefill pattern. While I know your product is not an exact match, you should be able to lift most of the content and UI from the new pattern. The Authenticated Experience Design Patterns team presented their research findings this past Monday and found that users had alert fatigue when alerts went across multiple pages.
Recommended action
If you follow the prefill pattern, you can have the info alert about prefill on your how to submit VA form 21-0779 page. Use the card style to let the user know they can edit the information. Then, if you feel it is necessary, you can have the alerts letting the user know their information must match. These are just suggestions but I think it is important to acknowledge the alert fatigue and the tested prefill pattern. Your alert has “Since you’re signed in to your account, we prefilled part of your application based on your account details.” Is this pulling from profile or a different account? The prefill pattern has “your profile details”.
