Benefit to the Veteran

As a Veteran, I would like to easily view the Veteran information section so that I can make sure the VA has my correct mailing address and phone number so I can be contacted with reminders for my appointments.

Hypothesis or Bet

If we make this change then we expect this to happen.

if we utilize the list&loop/confirmation flow for the Insurance section, Veterans will get through the section quicker

if we utilize the list&loop/confirmation flow for the Insurance section, Veterans will more easily be able to view their data leading to better data accuracy

Background

  • What details are necessary for understanding the specific work or request tracked by this issue?
  • A few months ago, we decided on attempting to make the EZR quicker, easier, and more data reliable by introducing a list&loop "Confirmation Flow." This new flow for the form will show Veterans all of their information for one section on one page, then allow them to edit that information, if they need to, by utilizing list and loop to edit their information. We are hoping this will both improve time and clicks on the EZR by reducing both, and also improving data accuracy by showing Veterans all of their data in a compact fashion.

    - Insurance section of the 10-10EZR
  • Is there anything specifically out of scope of this ticket?
    - Anything outside of the Insurance section
  • Is there anything that must be done before this ticket? (link ticket as dependency)
  • No
  • Are there any external dependencies?
  • Not really, but VES will be updating from SOAP to REST API so that may figure into our work (there is a separate Epic for that work).

The scope of this ticket is only for the Household (Spouse, Dependent, Financial information) section.

There are currently no known external dependencies, HOWEVER, with VES transitioning from a SOAP to a REST API we will need to consider that for our work.

Acceptance Criteria/Definition of Done

  • The finance, spouse, and dependent sections of the Household Section have been converted to the Confirmation Flow and have been researched with Veterans and any recommendations made to update the Household Section. Release in Prod.
