As a Veteran with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
I want to bypass the PTSD questions within form 526
So that I don't have to relive the trauma
Background Context
Some trauma-informed research on form 526 revealed that the PTSD form embedded within form 526 was causing Veterans to relive their trauma. So steps were taken to ask questions to Veterans with PTSD in combat and non-combat (other than sexual trauma or personal assault) situations; if they feared for their life, they could bypass the PTSD questions (form 781a). But, we did not address Veterans with PTSD caused by MST or personal assault
- Previous work on bypassing PTSD questions for combat and non-combat (other than sexual trauma or personal assault) situations
- User journey outline
- Design in Mural & Sketch
- Overall flow
- New flow
Note: I no longer have access to Mural, so the above links may contain duplicates
Acceptance criteria
- Investigate if we can skip PTSD questions related to MST or personal assault (form 781a)
- Investigate moving forms 781/781a out of the 526 flow
- Report results to OCTO
- Make a plan to implement changes, if needed
