Decay of loose produce on the ground

I also wonder if it's possible to include decay of straw and hay and grass and such on the ground that have not been collected from harvest or mowing. I should think this should also include decay of any product dumped on the ground. Can decay in storage silos be included as well?

I wonder if it's possible to find info on the bulk goods dumped on the ground in the save file. I'm gonna mow some grass and dump some oats on the ground and see what I come up with in the save files maybe that might help point you in the right direction? I dunno it's just a thought

I've previously looked into it and I think that information is stored in a height map. I didn't find the exact structure but mostly a bunch of helper methods referencing it.
