What you want:
Add a setting on whether to sync measurements with the system via the health connect api or similar protocols.
Why you want it:
This is a surprisingly well integrated way to share data between apps. Some apps require it for receiving data. Syncing with it also saves the problem of feature creeping into an "everything health related" app by allowing different apps to work of the same data.
