I can't figure out a way to do this in the common settings, but every once in a while microsoft's servers or something have a snaffoo and the ics file for my outlook calendar fails with the common URL error. Then, the script continues to sync and deletes all the calendar events (because there were zero events found as a result of the error).
Is there a way to stop the calendar sync if the URL turns up bad, and instead potentially send an email notification or something? Just not sure if this has been semi solved in someone else's setup.
