See https://help.dyn.com/remote-access-api/perform-update/ and https://sourceforge.net/p/ddclient/wiki/usage/#configuring-ddclient

Specifying hostname=a.dedyn.io,b.dedyn.io is part of the dynDNS protocol, so it would be a nice-to-have. (A user contacted me and was confused why it didn't work.)
