Description
So as I navigate getting into Ham, I have a bajillion questions that don't seem to get answered well.
We got things like ARRL's "Ham radio etiquette guide" which is semi good, but also gives a lot of non-answers "well listen and you'll pick it up"
For example:
Well saying "KO4PRR, mobile", some people seem to be responding to me as if I'm requesting a radio check, while others may/may not like a normal listening call... so what's the difference
I had a discussion with Bobby about it, super informative, but haven't found much on it (it's just to inform that your signal may cut out and whatnot, people are probably just being polite and giving you a quick radio check regardless, also easy way to start conversation)
Same with requests for radio checks, what's a good procedure? etc.
Can maybe write up some good getting started docs.
