We need to determine if we should go with a per-daac EDL credential rotation configuration for daac support, or if we can use cached credentials as implemented
We will need a way, using edl-credential-rotation or something simpler, to compare the latency of using a cache setup vs existing environment variables. I could imagine just changing the logic a bit in this code block to test the (uncached) environment variables option.
