Hey thanks for your support over the years! The permission "Manage your apps, extensions, and themes" is required for certain core functionalities of AdNauseam, primarily related to managing filtering rules and interacting with browser settings, for example checking other present browsers and checking themes for styling. I guess this is a broader issue from Chromium extensions, so not sure we can do something about it unfortunatelly... Perhaps future browser updates will be addressing this |

Hello, I wanted to say first off - love this extension, I have been using it for years.
I recently found out about Polymorphic extension attacks from this article: https://labs.sqrx.com/polymorphic-extensions-dd2310006e04
and I noticed that Ad Nauseam uses the Chrome permission "Manage your apps, extensions, and themes" which enables this kind of behavior. Is this permission necessary for the the functionality of this extension or can it be removed? TIA
